okay i went to change out my old o2 sensor with the o2 socket...the damn o2 sensor is stripped and the socket isnt grabbing it good enough to turn it .. ..what do you guys suggest on getting it out ..the only other thing i could think of was taking the manifold off ..completly off the car and taking some vise grips to it ...well any help is appriciated

i would spray it down with some PB blaster for a day or two. i would then try trouching it before i use the vise grip. Gl

or go to ebay and get a megan racing header for $120 :TU:

yeh i tried the pb blaster..it didnt really do anything , i guess ill try taking the manifold off and use vise grips to get it off..i dont think there is enough room to get hardly anything next to the sensor b/c all the ac stuff and everything

i would use a pipe wrench instead of vise grips, more grip and more leverage..................... heat it up first though...............
