I'm at work, so I have to be brief.

Car overheated on the way to work, threw some more coolant in it (it needed alot) and it got too hot (past 3/4) as I pulled into the parking lot. Popped the hood to find a crack in my radiator.

Gonna try to get some JB Weld at lunchtime and see if I can patch it well enough to make it the 30-45min drive home.

Anyone try that before? Anything to look out for?

my buddy cracked where the radiator nipple comes out on top. I jb welded it and it's been working fine.

How long do you think it will hold?

JB weld will hold perfectly fine, IF you let it setup long enough. if you can make it home, do it, then put the JB weld on.

Used PlastiWeld since it was the plastic part that cracked, held fine, thanks for the tips
