View Full Version : would an old pcv valve cause oil leak from oil pan gasket?
i suddenly got a leak from the oilpan, and im wondering if its from the pcv valve not working, causing pressure to build up and the weakestlink being the oilpan gasket..

i thnk they are cheaper than 5 dollars! haha.
where's the oil coming from exactly? do you know? is it dripping from the drain bolt? from the oil pan gasket? sometimes it looks like it's leaking from one spot when it really isn't.

Not likely unless the fresh air port on the valve cover is also plugged.
