i wouldnt want to F up my bumpers or moldings or anything but what is a good produc to use to take primer off of moldings bumpers ect.... mostly off of plastic peices

well if your bumpers are painted you have to sand everything out to the rubber. If they are bare well you shall use Urethane based primers. As well Urethane paint for no future cracks.

Depending on the type of primer, thinner or reduce. Use it very sparingly. Test a spot that won't show 1st. Consult your local Auto Paint dealer for specifics to your aplication.

its on an unpainted plastic stock bumper on my 88 civic?

sand it off with some FINE sand paper and repaint them black

the safest thing to use on bare plastic would be tar wax and grease remover. It will take some time to remove depending on how cured the primer is but it should come off. Using thinners and reducers on the bare plastic will eat or melt it which is something that you dont want to happen.

Why not just sand the bumper and paint it? And yes, use urethane products whether your going base/clear or single stage so it will flex with the bumper.

Dont use enamel. It gets way to hard and youll get cracks and spider webbing if you barely tap something.
