D14a1 HELP....

Well i own a 90' civic gl 1.4 dual carbed 90hp for a week, and I want to upgrade it...i know a guy who sells a D16Z9 Engine head from Honda Civic 1.6 Esi VTEC, can i adapt it to my engine....what is necessary? how much power do you think it will add? D's RULEZ

hello mate !!! as you have the d14a1 , twin carbs engine , its a bit of pig to swap in a F/I engine , you can do it but , you will also have to swap the tank all the fuel lines add an ecu ,
the d14a1 is a nice littel engine and you can get a lot out of it , if you fit the D15B twin carbs cam , out of a crx X15 , and also do the mods to the carbs , befor i messed up my fueling and timming i was pulling 118 bhp , with mine
you will not be able to fit a DOHC head to your block , and its very hard to activate vtec , and carbs
