Is it okay to run my car without the EACV / IACV plugged in?
Might sound like a dumb question, but I couldn't get my car to run right (idle or rev) until I located the source of the problem and it runs perfect (so far...) without the sensor's wire connected. I now have none of the driveability problems I had before.

I've seen block-off plates for this sensor, so I thought I'd pose the question. Thanks in advance for any help.

Why dont you just buy another or take the one you have now off and clean it real good........But no you should not have any problems leaving it unplugged excpet for the CEL

Damn s300...

You running a Hondata eh? What loom are you using?
I've been told by a Honda guru that you can use the d-series loom from the EK to run the S300.

would it being OBD1 have anything to do with it? or the fact that it's running open-loop?
