my buddy blew his motor and he had just replaced his head gasket and he was wondering if her could us e the same one or if he has to get a new one he had it on the car for only 2 months before his motor blew

You need a new head gasket. They seal by crushing the material between the head and block, and once that happens, there's a very high chance that they'll leak if you try and reuse them.

Anyway, head gaskets are only $40 or so...it's not like you're spending that much.

You can reuse or buy a new one, I would just spend the extra cash and buy a new one...
