Can you tune a car for fuel economy the same way you would tune it for hp?

yes.........
121 whp from a 85 whp stock rating

If a car eats gas to push hp, you would want to be able to limit the amount of gas it got, an air/fuel regulator, maybee, but kinda working backwards, just programming it way low.

tranzex, how did you get those numbers? I want this engine to be my fuel econobox while I build my other for hp. Teach me I wanna learn

Take off your rear bumper cover, put on front air dam, lower the car, chip the ECU and get a vaccuum gauge so that the vacuum numbers you pull driving at what your target speed is are leaned out on your fuel maps. Not that big a deal.

So, what does this have to do with suspension?

So, what does this have to do with suspension?
aerodynamics
tune it lean. i was getting 20-25 mpg when my motor was tuned to 13.5:1 air:fuel all the time. tuned the part throttle crusing a bit, its abotu 14-15:1 now, sometimes 16, and i get 33. im going to go to 17:1 and see hwo that does..

And what does aerodynamics have to do with suspension(besides ride height)?
