I can understand a rule that will not allow a noob with less than 65 posts to sell his stuff here. But I don't understand why you don't want to sell your stuff to him. The person with the parts for sale can hold the parts until you get the money, almost NO chance of getting ripped off. Last time I looked the guy selling those brakes had 3 pages of post and still had not sold them. I would think he would like to have everybody get a chance to buy his parts.

Because it's the rules. That's all that matters. Rules are rules. Follow them.

I mean seriously. How can so many people follow the rules and yet it be "hard to understand" for the select few? It's ont that hard. Read the thread at the top of this forum. Follow the rules. That's all you have to do.

You have been a member here for 2-3 years now, I wouldv'e thought you knew and understood the rules ...65 posts it's the way of the land ..If you have a problem with it.... you can alway Log out
That is my .02 worth :slap:
And for the record he wasn't banned for wanting to buy...He was banned for talking shit:
Again, i have never seen so many assholes so quick on any forum i've ever been a part of. And i've never had a problem anywhere else either.
F--kin power hungry admin faggots. damn.
If you're gonna be so f--kin anal about noobs buying stuff, maybe you should explain it to your members who have been here since 93 how the rules work.
In all the forums i'm on, i've never met so many dicks in so little time.

just my .02 worthFYI, d-series.org is NOT a free classifieds listing. you dont just come here to buy/sell, whatever.
limiting usage of both WTB/For Sale is easier on the staff trying to keep people from selling without meeting the requirements. open up the WTB section you say? what about all the noobs that troll there trying to sell to those listing WTB threads? WAY too much work to fuck with.
simple solution, close both off until you meet the requirements. that way you are forced to become part of the community and dont just come here like you are picking up your local paper to browse the classifieds.
plus he wasnt banned for trying to buy, he was warned. it wasnt until he came back with a negative attitude and started talking shit that he was banned. that sure sounds like a valuable member that we want to keep around, now doesnt it?
rules are rules, like it or not they are here to stay. fortunately for you, if you dont like them, nobody says you HAVE to visit this site...

If our rules suck so bad compared to "other" sites then why do we have the fewest " I got scammed" posts? Not many here.
