Im a noob here but i am on clubcivic.com and others. I am pondering build my d16y7 or buy jdm b16? Can i get good hp (150 -170hp) with $1200 to $1400? Anyone with my motor pulling these kind of numbers? I have a buddy with a shop to help build it up, but he can get me a full jdm b16 turn key for $2000, im stumped:honda:

yes you can get those #s, but you will need some sort of forced induction.

a hmt turbo kit would be pretty simple to setup and could easy achieve that goal

^^^ my man knows his stuff...search around here...there is a handful of people that have done that with FI...i eman if ur buddy si good with building engines...im sure a HMT kit can be built for 2 grand..and probably get more then 150-160HP..

really?...wow...u c..ive been taking alook through all this stuff...and for some reason i cant c it in my heart to boost my D..cause i guess i dont trust myself...but for $700...i think i should get to studying!
