i keep hearing from diff sources that after mrket parts r really hard to come but for this motor is it true

if you are talking about the d15b vtec, then the head is the same as a z6.

so whatever you can get for a z6 head you can get for the d15b vtec head.

the block is a different story though...

yea it is vtec am i gonna have a hard time finding shit like cams and shit? caue u want to be boostin by late spring but i want to have the motor built a little bit first

cams=dohc. cam=your motor. no as said before the z6 cam will work in the jdm d15b head. along with springs retainers and intake manifold. rods are avaiable from tuner toys along with arp studs and other goodies. the main thing is the pistons, but a member on here is giving good deals on suzuki vitarta pistons and they are rated around 400 hp or more. so. your not totally screwed. good luck. also search is your friend. =)
