I was wondering how many of you guys are running the Crower Stg. 2 cam on your stock valve springs? Any problems so far? How many miles have you put on it? On another side note what kind of gains are you seeing w/ fuel tuning on this cam?

-If you have another suggestion for a strong cam on stock valve springs, please add you input.

Thanks in advance,

-KC

on stock valvesprings? What's the point? Isn't a stage 2 cam designed to makepower above the stock rev limit? Doesn't make much sense to me. Go with a stg one or get some valvesprings if you ask me....just my $.02....

stage 2 cams just extend the rpm band...doesn't mean they dont make more power everywhere else.

but yeah id go with the aftermarket springs and retainers.

now you have $.04

are you running a stock or ported head. I'm running stg 2, but with full crower valvetrain, however my rev limiter is set at 7500. I'm not making anything past that since my head is still stock, it just can't do it. There are still plenty of gains to be had with stg 2, and low rev limit. I would recommend the springs/retainers, but if you don't use em, and keep stock limit, and arent running pistons that are too close, you should be ok.

Pretty pointless without a compression raise though.
