I had a RLD FAB ramhorn on my old setup. I'm not sure if it was the manifold itself, but it was really hard trying to tighten down the manifold bolts with all that weight sitting on them. I always had to make sure once a week that all the bolts were tight. Once n' a while some of bolts got loose. The thing is if you tight them too tight it could break your manifold stud. IF you are going to get a ramhorn I highly recommend that you change your manifold studs to ARP studs to ensure the studs won't break. Many people are having issues of breaking the studs and they all switched over to ARP studs. Overall, I liked the manifold and it was my best turbo setup to date.

CoreyR still runs what used to be CCfab. Its now called CTP, Connecticut Turbo and Performance. I have been down there a lot recently and they have some really nice stuff coming out. I believe you can still buy through www.ccfabonline.com Corey is working on a new site right now.

I said with the RLD-FAB. Trust me, people break studs. Have you tried weighing the manifold with the turbo and the downpipe together? When I did mine with my ramhorn it was heavy as crap. Metal gets weak over time with heat cycles. It's not BS, just had my cousin break a stud the other week when he tried to tighten his manifold bolt because they got loose. And this was just a mini-equal length manifold. Don't believe me go and search on H-T lots of people broken studs.

We don't read H-T. Sounds like overtorquing to me. I have never snapped a stud and I crank the hell out of mine. I had one come off before then really cranked on them. None broke. Maybe they should let the damn thing cool down before trying to tighten the nuts duh!!

i'll bet your right, they forget steel expands when it gets hot, if you tighten them while hot and they cool down, they prolly snap when the steel shrinks back down when they cool...

i forget the company but when they make wheel's, they heat up the outer part red hot and slid the center section in, when it cools down you have a complete wheel and the center will not come out, it's in as tight as if it were welded in place...

lol, not the way i mentioned but hey, nice big BOOBIE'S

My apologizes if I read H-T I like to keep my mind open to many areas of knowledge. It's like saying one author of a book with the same subject as 10 other authors is the only one correct over the rest.

Corey still puts a few manis on ebay. Thats where i bought mine. His name on there is efsiturbo........ he doesnt have any auctions right now but check back from time to time to see if you can find some. Im assuming that ccfabonline.com is still in operation because that is where my payment was sent to and that is the email i used to contact him. :TU:

Don't get me wrong, H-T does have a shitload of usefull info. The problem is you have to sift through 10,000 pages of bullshit and "swap in a B" to get the damn answer. I've even been a member for over 3 years. Check out how long and my post count. Tells you how much I like the place hehe.
