im assuming that it is an evo 8 correct? if so, they came with 16g turbos and fmic stock, so i would say if they are in good condition then it is well work it. make sure the turbo has no shaftplay.
yes you will need to get a manifold. Several places sell them, it all depends on what style you want or how much you are willling to spend.
Its not the head that you have to worry about hurting, unless if you mean for the added weight of the turbo, in which case, no you dont have to worry. What you need to worry about is the block and that it is strong enough to whitstand the boost pressures that you throw at it.

the turbo is a reverse-scroll turbo so you would have to get a custom manifold, and your bottom end will be fine ive been boosting mine on 9-10lbs (stock for 6 months) (grantite i have a really good tune.) i wouldnt go half a@@ on the turbo or manifold, if you really want to cut some costs make your own ic piping from jegs U bends, and DP as well, get a good EMS like hondata, and youll be set, you can also piece together an oil feed line at a local hardware store.

well you are going to have to get one custom made. the turbine inlet is a divided inlet that looks all funky. im sure BMC or JGfab someone should have them

Yeah, for the head find a B7 atleast unless you want to do a mini-me. In that case go w/ the Z6. You'll also want a better flowing intake manifold such as the Z6 or Y8. For the engine managment, do a OBD2 to OBD1 conversion and run the PO6 if you're notec and the P28 for vtec. You can get Uberdata and Crome for free on pgmfi.org and I'm sure there are people on here that can help you with the tuning aspect of it.
As for the 220 for the turbo and intercooler, jump on that shit quick or send me his contact info and I will. LOL.
