Would a t3/t4 60-1 .60 trim/.60 a/r cold side 360* thrust bearing chra, .82 a/r hot side, stage 5 wheel be too big for my built d series turbo project? I found a HELL of a deal on it on club civic and I relay don’t want to pas it up but I just am not 100% sure if this will be too large im thinking no…..i don’t know what I want my power band to be or don’t know what it would be with this turbo? I think with my setup I can go to 8-8500 safely just hopefully making power to there as well…..THANKS for the input
my thought as well are that this turbo may leave me room to grow (i plan on doing a sleeved z6 next winter) my hp goals are do able 300-350 more than that then id be happy
That's a huge turbo... for 300-350 hp a much smaller turbo would be better and would lag a lot less... This turbo's basically good for 1/4mile dyno queens. 0.82 AR Stage 5... too big!

You can do 300-350 with a smaller turbo then that. If you are going to DD this car all I'm gonna say is you are going to hate it. It'll take you in the upper RPMS to really see boost so in other words DD on the roads you are normally around 2-3500 rpms and won't see for crap boost. When I had my t3t4 50 trim with a stock z6 I used that car for DD and seriously for a month straight of normal driving I saw like 1lb of boost. LOL

IF I could've done it again I would've gone with a T3T4 46trim instead. Much looking compressor map for d16's.
