so i have been offered a greddy 19t turbo kit with front mount type-s bov new wastegate and a free tune from a guy i konw. no my question is is it worth it? he says it has 5000 miles on i tand is a reliable person so i believe him. but anyways he wants 700 and my rota circuit 8s and i planed on selling the rims anyways so is the deal worth it? sorry if it is in the wrong thread just figured here since it involves forced induction

I'm not sure how much the Greddy kit is but i dunno, it seems like $700 and the Rotat Circuit 8's might be a little expensive...Then again, if you were going to sell the circuit's how much were you selling them for? And if he's a good tuner i guess it woud be worth it...

Fuck it...trade it and be BOOSTED!!!

Take it and run. Even if the turbo needs a rebuild that's only a couple hundred at worst.

I could build 2 turbo kits for $2250 though that would tear the ass out of a Greddy kit.

For $700 + Rotas? I'd try to drop him down to like $600 or so. Not a bad deal really either way.

that sound expensive you can keep your circuit 8's and buy a used greddy kit with a front mount for around $500-$800 so I think you should try to lower his price, if I were on that position I would do circuit 8's and $400 but there again is the 19t is better than the 15g.... But whatever you decide just remember boost is fucking fun....GL :TU:

yes teh 19 is better than the 15g im going to try to lower him. he was selling it for 1500 and i was selling my wheels for 400. i bought the wheels for $400 then bought tires which are another $350. and i know boost is fun i sold my old turbo hatch and now want another. and i definetly think im going to go for it and the guy is a very good tuner. he tuned a 4g63 motor stock internals 19psi never had a problem and 3 turbo h22 and has his own civic that just ran aa 10.77 so ya he is a good tuner
