I have a d15b 1996 single vtec with obd2 computer, would converting to obd1 create alot of difference in hp, how much coming from stock. What are the processes of conversion.

I dont think changing to another stock ecu will really give you any power gains. All you need to do the conversion is an obd conversion harness. You will want the OBD2A to OBD1 Harness if you do decide to switch.

You will gain a wider variety of tuning options and can possibly remove some emissions equipment and that can add hp when fully taken advantage of,but just adding the stock ecu will not add any.
