stage 1 comp camshaft "question"

Hey any 1 in here use this cam shaft for our d, more specificly the JDM 15b, hows does it work for you and how much of a diff does it make from stock cause there this guy selling a brand new 1 in da box for 150?

I suggest you pass it, save some little more money and get stage 2... 150 bucks still is pretty much for "nothing" or very little. AFAIK D15B likes revs, so don't be too sissy with new cam 8)

i've run one in my y8. i'd have to say it's not much different that stock. of course the lobes are bigger, but i don't think it's one i'd invest in again.

Fuck that I have one in my civic d16y8 I dont know if it would give you as much hp if you dont have vtec but I like mine. 150 new is good, im sure mine was 260 or something. Also if you get the fucking stage 2 cam you pay more for the cam plus you cant install it unless you get the springs which cost even more. 150 is a good price, for me I got the head ported at the same time so I cant specifically tell you how much it helped but the combo was a huge improvement.

stage one makes power from 3500 to 6500 rpm
stage two makes power from like 5000 to 7200rpm

I agree go for it! I'm running one in my 99 d15b no issues to date.. power gains are decent if not good but you must have an OBD1 conversion or else its worthless as you need to reworked stage map to run the thing. Of course the mpg you get from it will be a lot better than a 2nd stage. Also lowering the vtec on point helps on this cam.
