I bought a z6 head, allegedly from a 95 EX coupe... The kids story was that the head had been given a port job/3 angle valve job, had Ferrera valves/springs/retainers, and 'custom' TODA cam (no such thing). Regardless, the price was right, at $200 for the complete head with a p28ecu, so I jumped on it.
4 mos later and I finally get around to tearing the thing down. I will approach the items one by one, but my initial impression is that I got a stock head that someone dremelled a *little* bit.
Let me preface this thread by saying that even if this stuff is not at all what he said it was, I dont feel cheated. I have a hunch the 19yr old kid probably got misled by whoever he bought it from. My only worry was that the head would have been hopelessly hogged out in the name of an amateur porting job. Barring that, it seems a pretty decent deal.
Enough of all that, the first item of business is that this appears to be a stock honda sohc vtec cam. I dug around for info on cam codes, and this thread:

was moving in the right direction, but didnt help me with the ID. I'm trying to figure out what a C431 cam is. Any guesses?
