Y8 intake, injectors, and throttle body with a Delta 272 regrind would be possibilites. I'd suggest converting to OBD-1 and tuneing with a P06 and CROME. Porting the head and intake are also good places to make some more power.

what kind of throttle body should I get? I was thinking about getting the skunk2 intake manifold, but don't know which throttle body to get.

Y8 Head, ported and polished, Edelbrock Intake maifold, B16 Throttle body "60"mm or...Type R 62mm TB... Crower Stage 2 Cam, Cam gear, Valve springs and retainers, P28 chipped and tuned....2.25 or 2.5 exhaust....i would try the 2.5 if you had the head completely done....if not go with 2.25...

How fast will my car hit in a 1/4 if I get the y8 head swap, cams, etc? I want to hit 14's...any suggestion for me to build up for 14's?

i myself have been looking about for some more upgrades for my motor. original d16y8 in my ex coupe, got 4-2-1 headers and intake with aluminum pulley. gonna get a 62mm tb soon and start tuning with vafc. have been doing some reading on the site and it seems the next step is stage 2/3 cam with more compression (i was thinking the flat top pm3? pistons)

how much does it cost you guys for a head port and polish? i dont live in the US, things a bit different in the caribbean. wanna get an average price :)

Wheres the best place to pick up a Delt cam? Tipical gains for the 272 or 282?

i don't think your gonna max out the stock injectors with a n/a d-series...

if you want to make any good power with a n/a D, you should get the Crower stage 3 cam, with retainers and springs, .5mm oversized valves, 4 angle valve job, edelbrock i/m, y8 head since you have a y7 block, pnp the intake and exhaust sides of the head, 60mm throttle body,12.5:1 comp pistons if you are in a place with 93 or better octane gas 11.5:1 with 91 octane, and if you really want to step up the game get a D17 crank and lightweight d17rods, shave 2 lbs off the crank and have it ballanced to 10k revs, 10lbs flywheel, engine management (crome, neptune or hondata would be the best) and honestly thats really about all you can do maybe ITB's but you cant pull very much hp out of a n/a d-series. Even with all that i'd be suprised if you could pull over 170 whp (i've been wrong before!) if you dont want to drop that much cash on a n/a motor then get a cheap greddy turbokit or build your own, my turbo kit cost me $600 to build with FMIC, injectors, turbo, manifold, d/p fab, all piping, and fuel pump. I have a max hp range of 280whp too.

Find DonF on Honda-Tech. He's a head porter in Florida.

Don't forget sleeving for up to a 79mm bore.

Are you pushing that 280whp on a stock engine?
