My understanding 3 bar map sencer comes w/ directions. The tuner would have to program it in to your management system. How much are you boosting or planing to boost

evidently, the sve 3 bar kits come with no directions, or wiring which means that you will have to run your own wires and splice from the stock map sensor harness, as explained in the above link.

And yes, you are correct, you have to program the 3bar into your tune. Hondata, uberdata, and crome all have a 3bar selection which makes it easy to do. Shouldnt be a problem.

im planning on running 8lbs on my first stage and 18lbs in second stage.

FYI, the rule is normally you can double the spring, so you should look into a 9lb-10lb spring

As for the splicing, it's really easy to do. I chose to keep the honda oem and the 3bar harness. I just have the OEM plug covered and hanging...

Is there actually an advantage to keeping the stock plug?

In case you ever decide to sell the car without the turbo kit or sell the kit/switch setups you can switch back to an oem sensor.

I took a dremel tool and hogged out a junkyard map sensor and made an adapter that plugs into my stock harness so there is no cutting or splicing involved.Just plug it in and go.Pretty easy thing to do.

Give me your email address.I dont feel like hosting them anyways and there not the best quality but you get the idea.one pic shows the harness and a stock 3 bar pigtail, and the other pic is my plug end pluged into a choped off oem map pigtail to show how it fits.

stage.

The SVE MAP kits we sell do come with instructions that are are specifically written for Hondas, even include the color codes for the stock harness. You can use the factory wires, and replace the connector with the one that comes with the SVE kit. See picture...

I completely agree with your statement about the 3 bars working with freeware and Hondata tuning solutions. They integrate easily into those systems.
