Stage one would run fine with no problems or tuning. Internals are you talking about crower springs and retainers?

Get the stage 2 cam. I have a stage 1 crower its a good drop in for a stock head. I'm in the process of beefing up the head for a stage 2. What kind of engine managment do you have for tuning?

that's not all true. if you just going for just an mild upgrade the stage 1. but as you stated you want to drop all crower springs, retainer, etc. you best bet is to a baller and drop that stage 2 in it. cause if you don't you will kick your self in the ass later on. lol.

if your beefing up everything in the head, why not the stage 3 if your going to mainly use it for racing...

do it once and get the stage 2.

doing a stage 3 is a bit, but a stage 2 would be good.

The stage 3 should be supported by high compression, a nice valve job, good header etc.
Stage 2 is better if you don't want to crack the block open, IMO.

I have a stage 1 comp cam and it works fine with a stock block.

If your going to all that expence for a head tuner like me, get it ported, I think it made a world of differance in power and it will even be better when I tune the ecu

The stage 2 will work fine. If you want a cheap way to up the compression just have a few thousandths machined off the head before you do the mini-me.
