Alright, i found what i believe to be a good deal on some injectors.

can someone let me know...heres the link

http://www.fuelinjectorclinic.com/cart/mitsubishi.htm

they are the lucas evo injectors for $200.

good deal or not?

Lastly, will these injectors work in a z6 turbo with 300+whp with a y8 intake manifold/fuel rail/fpr without a problem (just with the resistor box)?

thanks for the help

the evo 550cc are $200 and i have a resistor box already

the honda/acura are 280........thought it would be cheaper to just get the evos

whats the difference between the evo 550cc and the eclipse 550cc?

does it matter which one i get?

also i have another question..........are 550's going to be big enough. I want 300whp, but i just bought a skunk 2 IM and i might be porting my head......so i may be well over 300whp. the tuner toys injectors are only rated to about 300hp and they are 550cc

i dk if there is a difference; but i would think if there was it would proably be the diameter of part that goes into the IM or maybe different shaped plug...

I would buy the eclipse since the plugs fit when you cut off the little tab and grind down the bushing for the IM...

how hard is it to cut the tab off and grind down the bushing? (how precise does it have to be and how easy is it to mess up?)

thanks

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The thing that the equation doesnt take into is the fuel pressure. I am assuming that the fuel pressure in the equation is probably set at 30 psi base, but Honda's are typically at 42psi base pressure. Using a fuel pressure of 42psi, 550cc injectors will support 350whp.

Honestly, making 350hp on a sohc is quite and accomplishment.
Don't expect to make that on PUMP GAS.
If you have a seperate race gas tune, you can always increase static fuel pressure for your race gas runs...
Have you been in a 300hp civic? It's fast! My own car with LSD when running 12psi (aprox 230hp @ 12psi), will break the wheels loose at any speed in 1st/2nd gears (DX trans) and in damp weather has broken them loose at 80mph in 3rd.
At 15psi, it sometimes breaks 3rd loose... This is on 205/45/16 Htr Z2 and AVS ES tires Tires.
2nd gear, on Hoosier Autocross Slicks, also breaks whenever I make it into boost...
Seriously, get your expectations in line with realistic everyday goals. Your car, your motor, and your wallet will thank you for it. There is really no point in a street civic with more than 300hp in it unless you want to loose your license street racing...

im just shooting for 300whp on pump gas....i think its pretty realistic.

i have a dual stage boost controller so if im not racing ill be at 8 psi.

thanks for the input

Sorry guys, the 550s on our site will support around 330whp~380whp on the factory pump and fuel pressure. The listing in our site is worng and will be updated. Not to whore it out too much, but our injectors also have the advantage of being built from the same injector bodies that were originally used OEM in all Hondas. This means that they are a direct fit, not hacking your harness, no resistor boxes, no goofing with your seals. You can get a brand new set of four with full warranty, for $219 (currently). They drop into all OBD1 cars, all high impedance OBD0 cars, and all OBD2 cars with replacement clips.

Sorry for the mixup with the description.

Hope that helps,

Craig

Well it kinda depends on the year engine they came out of...but remember the evo never reached the US till the EVO 8 2003...so its just availability...they both the same me and a friend have in 450cc injectors in a d15b motor...with the right mappings 550cc will be more than enough for that engine... my evolution has in 550cc and its making over 380whp...and only using 70%duty cycle...
