Only things I saved......
4.25 FD
all synchros
3-4-5 gearsets
1-2 and 5 shifter forks
I had to cut the outer race out of the clutch side case, now the case is just scrap alum, the pile gets bigger.
AGAIN, NEVER EVER USE GEAR OIL IN OUR TRANNYS!!!!!!
ok?
I knew the tranny had a bad ISB, but the FD and 5th gear were worth the $40 to me

I dont know and therefore I dont understand, so I ask. If that also piss u off, then would u like to recommend me a way to go around it or maybe jus do it yr way. I thought this forum is for people to share knowledge about our beloved honda car, why this kind of wording? If I am not welcome here, do let me know, so I can make myself disappear.

^ I think bense said that because AGAIN, NEVER EVER USE GEAR OIL IN OUR TRANNIES was a fairly obvious comment.
He was informing everyone that using gear oil in a Honda trans is about as bad as having sex with an animal.

Like I say before, I dont know, so I ask. I am not being sarcastic when tranzex is someone who have teach me so much about my ride. Why piss someone off when the person can teach me more, right?

May I know what are some of the considerations that u had which make you say the above statement? BTW, does any gear oil that u have come across which will give some benefits (kindly put cost aside for this discussion)? I am very interested to know the difference cos I know nuts about gear oil, hope to hear any input from the expert there, thank you in advance, cheers

Redline MT-90 likes to eat away at the plastic bearing cages, causing bearing failure.
Gear Oil is too thick, won't flow down the shafts to lube the roller bearings under the gears.
I used Pennzoil Synchromesh in my Kaaz LSD (clutch style) tranny with for Posi-Trak additive to quiet the clutches down.
gear oil does bad things........
