If it's a real skunk 2, great score.

im pretty sure it's real it was sealed in the box ,and in the plastic. plastic has skunk2 written all over it. plus the decal was in the box. if it's a fake it's a damn good one. so i would have to rock it just because the guy put forth such a great effort to prove it was genuine lol.

won't do shit but look pretty with those two pivot joints.....

example, grab hold of yuour index finger by the end and push, notice how it flexes at your knuckles?????

Neuspeed or the 3 point "carbing" bar.......

it does help some, because it helps keep the towers parallel, during any flex, though, right? just not as much as a solid bar, like an OE SiR or Type R bar?

you should buy one of these if you really want it to stiffen up...

I'm thinking about getting a Password bar and stripping off the paint (that color matches NOTHING) and powdercoating it black.

after reading up on both the skunk2-style bars and solid bars, i have to agree with transex and crazy conscious on this one and get the password:jdm bar :TU: (it's cheaper than the carbing bar i believe).

password also sells solid rear bars as well: http://www.passwordjdm.com/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=374 :TU:

Now that would be slick

And while it may not improve handling too much, i felt a difference i swear, its definately a nice to look at and i believe the password bar is a copy of the carbing one though they say theirs is better because of the I-Beam construction. If you picked it up for 50 bucks and its the real thing thats a damn good deal.

Integra GSR strut tower bar on mine and yes it is solid...and OEM Honda

Although I do like my Skunk 2 lower tie bar...

Im going to disagree with transzex ...the skunk 2 does have hinged ends but it is still tying the two towers together , Yes they probably have a little more give to them vs. a solid unit but its deffinetely providing a stronger tie than nothing at all.

I say $50 for the skunk2 is a great deal:TU:

doesnt do crap. maybe a little bit of you have r compounds on. The solid 3 pt bars are better, but for the price, you might as well get a roll cage or roll bar. It'll stiffen up your car more than any tower, tie, c-pillar, whatever bar ever could.

x2 :TU:

It's not the best, but it's better than nothing.

Until I get sawy bars and new rims w/tires, I'm using an ebay set of strut bars and tie bars, and I'll get the good shit as I go, starting with the P:JDM 3-point brace. Just can't afford that right now unless I didn't get shocks, which defeats the purpose IMO.

The password jdm bars are sweet but that amount of money you can get a suspension techniques front and rear sway bar kit. Front bar $199 or you can get front and rear combo for $299 its a little pricey but they are nice.
