I personally dislike ACT clutches. I think thier pressure plates are not designed for anything but "on/off" driving. I Run Clutchmaster or Exidy.

do you see anywhere on this thread where i said "Hey ryan, what do you think of exedy?"

anyways, thinks for the input man....im glad i just bought the act clutch, especially when you reccommended exedy.

it was fine in the turbo car. never slipped. had an act in my prelude too. too much pedal pressure but other than that it was fine. my favorite still though, was my exedy stg1 in my other prelude.

Yeah, I've got the stage 4 version. My advice is similar. I love the thing, but it's too harsh for a daily driver if you're in traffic regularly. It's fine for a while then you kinda get tired of dealing with it. I'm rebuilding my tranny right now and seriously considering it's removal for a more comfortable model since I'm not dragging anymore.

All that pedal pressure trying to shove the crank out of the block. Think about your pour little thrust bearings..........

i have the hdpp with 4 puck solid hub... its nice.. prolly some like 30-40%increase of stock pedal pressure it grabs nice.. hasnt slipped yet at 10psi..
i first got the clutch because i hate mushy pedal pressure and i kept popping springs out of stock disc's at the track when i was n/a... but i still love it..
i also got my setup from clutch specialties for 240 last year:TU:
