cx hatch... like i told you in your other thread.. DID YOU REPLACE THE CLUTCH DISC???
i did the exact same thing... the trans never came off.. pryed for 3 hours got the new one on and it was grinding with the clutch disengaged.. but id push the pedal in and it would stop...
got 3 blocks down the street and it felt like my clutch exploded... but had pedal pressure... pushed it back next day took it apart and the splines on the clutch disc were gone.. prying the tranny back and forth isnt good on the clutch splines ( the splines that slide on the input shaft ).. i bet your trannys fine.. put it in gear and see how far you get before it happens to you...
like i said in your other thread.. make shure you replace the disc before you put the tranny back on.. but people just dont listen...heres my post in your other thread.. next time listen
yup i forgot that one time..
also i have had a problem once.. trying to get the tranny off.. and i know i had every single bolt out.. we pryed for 3 hours.. finally it came off.. there was no borken anything no extra bolts or anything..
put the new trans on and got down the street.. then the clutch broke..
or shall i say all the teeth in the clutch disc that slide on the input shaft were GONE.. if you pry your tranny off.. i would definately suggest putting a new clutch disc in or this might happen to you

you dont have to replace the whole clutch.. its strongly reccomended but you can just replace the disc.. if u have a clutch shop near it should only be like 30-50 bucks depending on what disc u get
