i dont really have a hp goal but i would like to run high 12's to low 13's. i just got a z6 block i'm going to put in vitara pistons unless a sale falls through and im lucky enough to get a good deal on some je forged pistons. anyhow i am going to run 15 to 20lbs of boost on an evo 3 16 g with a jg cam and aem cam gear. this is going in a 91 crx is port and polish head necesary?

Stock engine works, good tune you could push 250whp on it. That would get you your goals with some slicks, one of the guys from turbod16.com just trapped 111 with similar whp in an EK coupe.

Since your cramming more air down the head, i would port and polish the damn thing....you prob have to take the head of to replace gasket and studs....do yourself a favor and go for it....A good PNP job will yield better/smoother performance than a completly stock head..
