Whats up guys!! I wanted to ask around and see if anyone has had any experience with ssautochrome.com I am very seriously considering buying a turbo kit from them, but it almost seems too good to be true. The kit I'm looking at includes:td04 turbo, manifold, wastegate, bov, downpipe, and misc. fittings all for only $650.00 On top of that they offer an intercooler kit for $350.00 Thats a "complete" turbo kit for a $1000.00 Not only am I wanting to find out about the quality of the parts in the kit but also their fit. The last thing I want to have to do is spend two weeks hacking away at my car just to get the kit installed. Any information would be a great help and if any of you guys know a better source, even if its a little more expensive, that information would be great also. Last but not least, what are some of the other parts or upgrades I need to be sourcing to ensure that I will get the most performance out my turbo while keeping safety of the engine in mind also. Thanks for all your help!

you could piece together a turbo kit way cheaper then that. i have never dealt with ssautochrome but just about everyone on here will tell you to not go with them. they are junk. etc. etc.

SSautochrome have a bad reputation around here... there are other kits... but stay away from shiny chromed manifolds they tend to crack.
Look for RAMHORN manifolds or LOGmanifolds or IRONCASTED manifolds.

I'm running and ssauto mani, turbo, and wastegate and they are all working just fine. I added braces to the manifold, used and oil restrictor with the turbo and i've honestly never heard of a problem with their wastegate...

everything but the manifold is ok to run. some people run the manifolds with no problem, but ill pass. but the newer turbos, the tial knock off wastegates, intercoolers, piping, and bovs all seem fine too me.
