Hi running 450cc dsm injectors with resistor box.
For now I'm using a FMU and stock p28 ecu.

I can't make it idle... Is any way I can make the engine idle without crome or any vfac?

Thanx

Woah! Definitely not. Those injectors are almost twice as large as stock, lowering your fuel pressure enough to stop the injectors from spraying too much fuel will cause them to not atomize the fuel well enough so you won't get your engine to idle correctly.

like they said buddy. no way. crome has a nice calculator tho all you have to do is type 440 in a box and it changes all of your fuel tables for you.

Nope, it's running on the stock ECU fuel maps ans basically flooding your cylinder everytime it opens.

Good luck getting it to idle without any tuning program...

throw in your old injectors until you can get it tuned or a chip burnt.

Yeah, that's what I suspected...

Well as you read on the LINK I plan to run crome but after I modify my tranny to manual. It's wasted time setting it to then rechip it. I'm running the OEM injectors with low boost (7psi) we tried tu run up to 14psi with stock injectors and the Pyro readings kept normal. I guess I can run that setup but I don't want to risk the whole engine.

I'll keep you updated on future time slips... I want to try it on quarter mile... 7 psi and auto tranny we hope for a low 14's or high 13's. Champagne or coca-cola? who knows!

I won't... we tried 14psi just around the block. It will be setted at 7psi till I slam the tranny and ecu chipped with crome.

damn. 14psi on stock injectors with a FMU. you got lucky to make it as far as you did.

the fmu is 12:1 progressive, my internals are forged, and that was 5 minutes of test.

yes you can run 450's on stock ecu.... i did for 2 days until i got the tune ( this was before the turbo was even close to being on the car just wanted to put the injectors in to get ready)....

i have a fpr.. i put the injectors on and kept turning the fpr down until the car would run.. final setting at 22psi.. it still ran pig rich.. but worked for the 2 days until i got my basemap.. then put that on and turned it bak up to 44 psi then put the turbo on the next day:TU:

I could not get any idle, the engine was flooded by gas no matter how much I reduced the gas at FPR. With stock ones no freaking problem. 'm running very rich now the car starts so damn lazy and then wake up... It feels nice.
