I was wondering what intake manifold I could use on my d16y7 with a 5spd tranny? The manifold I have has a p2a hf2 number? Can this one be used or is there something better?

use a B16 TB and a Y8 manifold... cheap and easy fo shizzi.... i did it with 240cc inj. from a B18B1 and then also chipped ecu and ran a d16y8 program for my old setup in a 94 sedan...

i put the motor into a 1994 civic DX so i had wired Vtec previously and also had a JDM D15b in there, changed to the D16y7 and didnt have Vtec so i used a stock P06 basically (the maps on my P75) then disabled everything, and went ahead and use the factory injectors, compensated for then like an idiot, because the cr felt ok, but i hated that IM, switched to A D16y8 IM and B16 tb and converted My chip back to a P28 chip and ran that forever, with no tuning i ran fucking awsome, i would go OBD-1 with the conversion harness of course and ECU then just do the IM manifold swap, ive done a 1998 civic EX with a OBD-1 jumper and Socketed P06 for Vtec and P30 maps tuned for him and it ran awsome to... after i switched IM i was happy with the performance i gained, it pulled nicely b4 but ripped hard to 7.5k with cam and ne IM, without the cam it still ripped good to 7k, that Y7 IM really kills the top-end.. Blah...
P.S.- i have heard of people swapping manifolds and keeping the Y7 inj. and ECU and running that but never knew the outcome, might aswell do the OBD-1 ecu swap when u do it, look at it this way, with datalogging and a wideband (and a laptop duh) u can tune almost anything, to tune m own setup i started slow with adding features like 2 step then went to changing more aggressive timing and fuel slowly, works fine on the street if u datalog with a goo program, i like freelog u can fine tune in a few hours but when tuning my own setup i tuned for months and months and ended up with gr8 power and the smoothest driving car i have ever seen...
