..Does anyone have a part# for a replacement starter, ZC DOHC Blacktop 1.6 with manuel tranny...block# ZC-2405102-1A??,......i have tried local parts stores...they cannot match for me...i have tried 88-89 integra starter...flange is off by 1/4 inch...tried stock 90 civic...seems to fit..wont work....also...any links or helpful sites with troubleshooting info, wiring steps...would be very much appreciated!! thx to all for any help!!
this is my 2nd ZC...swap. my 1st import...1989 4th gen Si Red hatch came with a strong running ZC...body had hella..i mean hella...300k miles!! found a 1990 Si 4 gen hatch Red shell...had been sitting for three years...took ZC, ECU...everything needed from the 89 and put it on the 90 and it ran kick ass for another 2 years!! Then...famous broken timing belt!! So...she sat...for 2 years again....Now, over turkey day...ordered a ZC blacktop from Jspec Motors out of Texas, came Fri am...took out the ZC bad belt....Dropped in the replacement ZC....and she wont fire!! believe it is the starter...but would gladley take any advice from knowledgeable person with troubleshooting our install.....Thanks AGAIN!! also own a bone stock 90 red Si hatch..bad belt.
