Can I interchange the 5th gear on a SI to a DX ?

if you change them as a set yes, but what tranny you working on?????

88-91 Si and DX use the same (.771) 5th, as does the 92-00 EX and DX (.702)

arent the final drives what sets them apart for both gens?

That, and that the Si is a big bearing case.

well yea i knew bout the big bearing part thats how u know if its the si trans or the dx trans

the only difference between a DX and Si tranny is the final drive right
