d16y8 ex manifold vs d16z6 ex manifold

is there any performance diffrence between the two stock headers it will be going on my d16y7

the 92-95 d16z6 exhaust manifold is a 4-2-1 desin with the 4-2 piece being cast, and the 2-1 downpipe being tubular bent pipe, a much better design than the d16y7 exhaustmanifold/cat mess

the 96-98 d16y8 exhaust manifold is also a 4-2-1 design with the 4-2 piece being cast, the pipes are a little longer than the d16z6 manifold. and the 2-1 down pipe is tubular bent pipe

HOWEVER the 99-00 d16y8 exhaust manifold is the best design, it uses the same 4-2-1 design but with tubular bent pipe for the 4-2 as well as the 2-1, it is the most like an aftermarket header in design, but is quiter thanks to a nice steel wool lining in the pipes, i recently installed one on my 90 civic and it added a nice low end growl, but quieted it some for highway cruising, definately much better flow than my old puny d15b2 4-1 cast exhaust manifold crapola
