TDC valve help

Hey guys, I have my y8 head (not on the car) in TDC, with the cam gear word UP being up. the intake valves from cylinder three are open, and the exhaust valves from cylinder 2 are opening up. is this how it should be?

correct, because remember the firing order is 1,3,4,2-so, at TDC cylinder 1 is at the top of its compression stroke and firing while 3 is at the bottom of its intake stroke with the intake side open.

yes, its in the right position, but just make sure its not just the up that correct, but align the 2 hash marks even with the head
