question on dohc zc please help

i keep hearing that a zc in my 91 hatch would put out some power now i have a jdm d15b non vtec in there right now.would it be easier to swap the zc right in or jdm d15b vtec in there im not sure i have a zc right now though so feedback would help thanks guys

get a z6 or y8 head and do a mini me on it alot cheaper and would make it run alot better if u dont already i would also get a zc or a si tranny the jdm ZC tranny is nice cause of the 2 pice driver side cv shaft help reduce pull and it also takes bigger axles meaning less broken tranny's and axles..

Mini-me is not worth it, just swap in a y8 with i/h/e and you'll be go to go.

vtak...lol.... J what are you talking about? low end power? I believe my b20a can take you 1-2 then your mid-range kills me.

sohc vs dohc, diffrent power bands, sohc for top end, dohc for low end power.Im always a fender ahead then i pull away in third. I can launch better now so well see lol
