92 civic brakes help!!!

alright this is gonna sound weird but i replaced my front brake pads on my civic and they're on properly but for some reason the brakes go down a little further and have a sound of kinda like air in them....... any suggestions on what might have went wrong? or how to fix it i need to get to work!!!

your brakes probably felt "higher" before because you had a seized slider pin or caliper saddle. if you un seized it, the peddle will go down farther... it you like a higher peddle then go in the back and clean and adjust rears. it have have disc.. that forget all about it and just drive it!
