im trying to take a AEM camgear off a head that i have lying around and every time i try to loosen the center bolt it spins the cam. how can i get the cam to hold still?

try to wedge something in the cam gear/block to keep it from moving and take it off that way

strap wrench will work, cost like $6 at some places.
