Ok, moved my car literally 15 feet this morning (ran fine) turned it off and left it there. Go to move it a few hours later; rpms are jumping around from 800 to 1200 rpm (really low for cold), i check the plugs and they are wet (smell like gas) and smoke was comming out of the spark plug holes (w/ the plug pulled). Switched plug wires (the boots on the wires i had on there tend to pop off the dist cap) all other connections; it all looks fine. The car turns over, but won't run. Smoke still coming out of the spark plug hole when i remove the plug.
I'm thinking the ignitor or rotor has gone bad... but obviously not sure. Plan on taking off the dist cap and doing a compression test (i'll go buy a compression tester tomorrow). Anybody have an idea of what it could be?
EDIT: fuel soaked the plugs because i didn't run it long enough; cleaned the plugs and it runs fine now.
