ok, sorry for such a noobish question, but im about to be swapping in a d16a1 into my buddys crx, and we were wondering if i can just take the complete droupout (motor, axles, tranny, mounts) and drop that straight into the crx.
Id just like to know b4 i pull it from the junkyard.

sweetness. so much for an easy swap. argh.
Is there a way i can make this work, as in using the mounts from stock crx motor? Im sure someone has had to do this before.

welding, custom axles, then a old floor jack to create a motor mount.......

you can make it work my friend jesse did it in his 90 4 door. he had to make a custom motor mount for the driver side. i am not shure if u can maby take a d series mount and bolt it on the block and make it work or not.the front mount is not really needed if u make yourouther 3 really solid. u need to cut both pairs of shift links and put them togeather andu need to use this 88-91 tranny.. this ihgt require switching the clutch and fly wheel not shure.. on the bright side there both obd0 so no wiring or ecu problems :)..
