what tranny's dont have aluminum shifter forks?

`96-`2000 are steel, they just bend rather than break.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i THINK bone said somewhere along the line that he likes the aluminum ones better because when they give out they dont break anything else.

I can't find it right now, but something about the steel ones bendign into the gearset and jusnking everything.

ok before anyone QUOTES ME.......I've yet to run a 96-00 tranny.....
I've seen bents forks in 96-00, yet I've broke ALOT of 88-95 forks......more than ALOT......aka TOO MANY!
Guess what though......NO synchro damage that everyone bitches or brags abouty.
