My lil bro borrowed a car from a friend 2001 saturn sc2 5spd coupe!

Well he gets on the highway and he said something popped really loud!

He gets it to the house and all I see is fluid running out of the bellhousing i take my finger dip it in and it's freaking 80-90 gear oil... I'm like wtf these take dexron iii!

So we are going to drop the trans and take the tranny apart and more than likely it will need all the bearings replaced!

why would you drop the trans on a car thats not yours..?
wouldnt be better to let the person know this happend and ask them if it ever had this problem before...

have fun d00d. if the 01's are like the earlier cars, you'll have to drop the crossmember and virtually yank the motor before that tranny'll come out. yay GM engineers!
