The pics are a low qaulity cause it was a camera phone but the magnet was

pretty much full and the metal chunks of gear where slung everywhere. Could

anyone tell me what gear is the one damaged?

Wow. Reminds me of when my buddy had a tranny go foul. At the shop, the mechanic pointed at a ton of metal shavings and bits on the ground and said "Thats your second gear".

I guess second just takes a pounding more than any other gear.

lol, 2nd in my car hates me.... but still follows my commands =)

I'm just waiting for my diff to blow.... with the front end raised you turn one wheel, and it turnes about 10-15deg before the other wheel starts to turn..... makes a mad amount of tq.steer feeling when accelerating too.

Might be because of the distance from 1st to 2nd. People are just too damn impatient when getting on it.
Save your 2nd, learn to shift ;)

Well i couldnt tell you how it happened do to my stupidity on letting a friend drive the car.He said it just locked but i grew suspicious and then i saw this and now i know.

I only got to do a couple burnouts too, I just installed the tranny three days before this happened/\.

i never trust a friend with my car, only time i let them drive is when i am with them.

check your clutch and shifter forks

lol, clutch is a stage III got replaced less than 10K ago.

the shift forks on the other hand......... those get checked when I pull the puppy (after getting a replacement).

I know a main issue with the stiff shifting is the motor mounts: the Drivers side motor mout is "Afro Engineered" [written this way so people don't get their panties in a bunch] with nuts, bolts and JB weld to stiffen it up and hold the motor almost where it should be. The motor is still shifter about 1/2" twards theback of the car from where it should be.... so I know my shift linkage isn't lining up exactly right.... plus I got the 2 lower motor mounts missing right now... mom tossed em when she was cleaning the garage out =( That's what I get for storing shit at mom's house I guess.

And the release fork... that will need a pic itself when I swap: I had to weld together the center of the "diped" portion that snaps into the round pivot ball; it was cracked pretty bad when I did my clutch, and I didn't wanna have to pull the tranny because of a broken shift fork later... so I tack welded it a touch =P
