View Full Version : quick question...painting lips on wheels??

ok...here's my question. i have these 14's. they are from a ef i'm told. they used to be gold. well when i got them they looked like shit. so i painted them black and polised the lip up. look pretty good imo. but me and a buddy were debating on painting the lip red? comments w/ suggestions. i'm posting up pics for reference. feel free to chop them. and post them back up.

i like polished lips not colored unless the color is to match the car color thats my .02

might as well give it a try or jst pick ya up some different rims. i think 15s would be perfict i dont like the side wall u get from 14s. and id chop it but i suck at chopage

those particular wheels look good the way they are. The red lip would look good on a different style rim though.

id say do it... it looks hot...well of course my black ass car with black rims and red lip self would say that...but it looks hot... especially if you throw some red calipers behind it what!!

i would use a darker read, more of a maroon maybe. it might make it look a lil better! that bright of a red just steals your attention away from the good lookin ride

I honestly like the chrome lip they have on them already. I think you should just leave it the way they are.

damm idk they both look really good but i think im gonna go with the red it stands out from the rest and i dont really see a lot of people ridin with red lips....so go 4 it but go with a lil darker red
