i have a civc ek hatch with a d15z6, and the gear ratio's are way toooo long.....
my engine has 115bhp as standard and i have got a 4-branch manifold, standard middle box, and s/s back box and induction kit located behind the bumper, i reckon ive got about 125 bhp now, can anyone tell me any different?????
with that power, the car feels underpowered with the long gear ratio's, so i realli need a shorter ratio gearbox, but dont know what car to get one from
is there a gearbox that is closer ratio, for quicker acceleration.????

If you count mixing-and-matching OEM gears/FD's.....
Si 1-2/ZC 3-4-5/4.4375 FD

Thats pretty much a DOHC ZC with a ZXi FD; except the DOHC ZC 2nd is 1.944 vs. 1.8xx
**thats cable btw***

I'd rather have the 1.894 second, makes 3rd close.......
I should get pics of the ZXi tranny I now pocess :)

x2, which is why I'm doing that swap in my Si (minus the 4.4375 obviously).

Dooohhhhhhh, forgot about the silly VX/CX.
ZC + 4.90FD + 9000RPM = Yummmmy... And then the motor goes BOOM!
Ah, I miss my old setup, it was a blast on a track but sucked ass at autox...
