View Full Version : Engine Wire harness question.

i have an engine wire harness from a 91 integra 5spd, i got a d16a6 motor, a pm6 ecu, and its in a 89 dx hatch. can i use the integra engine wire harness with the stock interior harness or do i have to change that harness too?

no. you first need to convert the car from dx, to si. Rywire.com sells these kits. then I believe you can use the harness.

***stupid question alert*** what do you mean convert the car from dx to si. i have the si motor, ecu, and engine wire harness.

you have to use the stock dx harness, and rewire it to mpfi

there are shit loads of write ups on this and it is sooooooo easy...

the FACTORY harness (89 DX) stays with the car, IF you change it, you'll never get it to run.
