I'm sure this is the wrong place, but everywhere I search I get a different answer. I have an '88 ef wagon that is currently dpfi and I need a CORRECT pinout of my stock ecu plugs and my pr3 ecu. The issue I have is that whenever I find a thread the "right" way to wire it changes as you scroll down. I have read that this ecu is obd0 like my car and that I can put my stock distributor in the d16y8 I am installing... the only issue I have with that is I have that I have been told to repin the obd1 distributor leads into the obd0 connector. I have also read that I need to run a resistor box for the injectors, but I'm not sure if the injectors in the d16y8 are the same size as the ones used with the pr3 and I know that if the ones in my motor are smaller I would need more injector pulse-width to compensate unless japan has some super dense air to justify a super fat a/f ratio for the pr3.

So I guess in the end I'm asking where I would find an accurate dpfi to mpfi conversion list, if my injectors will work with my pr3 ecu (and if I'll need a resistor box), what distributor I need to use and I guess any helpfull tips or tricks for the swap. Thank you all very much for your time and input, Josh.

they are all correct, it's just that different people use different terms. A multimeter is your best friend.

I don't know what you're asking about the ecu/dizzy, but you have to match the ecu to the dizzy, obd1/obd1, or obd0/obd0, no exceptions.

Well I was unsure as to whether or not my obd0 distributor would work in the d16zc head and if the injectors work with my pr3 without a resistor box. Thank you for your help, Josh.
