as im buying it. the body kit is for sale. the rims are up for trade. the center section of the tail lights is for free to who ever gets the body kit or wants it. not ment as a for sale just posting up my "new" car. plans are simple. get her clean again!!!!! ill post up the progress as it goes when i get back form iraq... many more pics to follow...

That's not haggard. At least you can salvage it. Most of the piles of CRX I buy are beyond repair.

honestly man...I think its do-able with the body kit if you decide to keep it. I think it looks decent. but...you definitly have a nice lil project on your hands...!

thanks guys i really debating keeping the kit and throwing on a mugan front clip. im really excited about the car. i love being able to make a car mine. ill get her cleaned up and then the motor is next. im such a bum no matter what motor i go with im hoping i can keep my tall geared tranny. got to love cruising at 60mph between 1200 and 1500 rpms. she will making alot of trips back to miami fomr n.c.

I used to have those same tail lights in mine. After awhile I got sick of them.

its could be worse you cause have got the peice i had. I say ditch the kit and tails and it will look nice, at least you don't have the quater rust like every other crx

Damn dude, Its so good to see my car going back to someone with the finances and willingness to care for it. Guys, this CRX was my first Honda, then after I lowered it and sold the Niche Shocks its was sittin on, it sat for almost 2 years while I was away in MOS school and getting stationed at Cherry Point. My dad drove it to work now and then but it mainly just sat in the garage. About a year and a half ago, I sold it to my brother in law who decided to try fit the body on it, and put it on the current rims....then he ran the front rotors down to the FINS!!!! THE FINS!!! He would have tried to keep driving it that way if i hadnt have told him to park the damn thing while I went and bought new rotors, clipers, and pads and fixed it myself......He wore the seats out and never cleaned the inside......It got down right gross....Until I got 2SLO2RCE to offer him money for the car and the Bro in law accepted!!!! Im SOOO happy to see my old car brought back to life!!!

if this conflict in iraq ever ends it seems most of the d series members will have been iraq war vets... only seen that once the rotors being done to the fins.. an older gentleman and he didn't even notice there was anything wrong with it! any one know if was or going to be a d series meet in the northeast? it seems a huge portion of people on here are from the northeast...

Thats because we can only afford D-series motors with our AWESOME military paychecks. B-series = expensive....I got lucky with my Si and got uber-low monthly payments....But if that werent the case, id still be rockin the D-series CRX. I still wanna find an EG to boost though....but thats gunna have to be later on.

prior to getting the delsol to replace the crx...looked into getting a new si couldn't afford and dealer wouldn't go down in price i assume because of the high demand of this model..if i didn't buy it someone else will.. besides if not happy with power in my opinion unless going forced induction this is more potential per $ with the d series as new iron leaves less room for improvement as honda has made the most out of the design.. back to thread topic... i wish i couldn't found a decent crx like this one.. all the good ones i enquired about were $5000 because everyone knows they have a problem rotting out quarters and can ask what they want for them...will only go up in price...
