well, i got em running yesterday

it sounds absolutely insane. idle is pretty damn lopey with only a stage 1 cam. it's fairly rough, but it is stable enough at ~1k rpm. i'll have to get it out in traffic to really see how it runs stop/go.

with the 8lb flywheel, it revs like a motor cycle. i can't wait to get it back on the road!

my fuel pressure is sitting at ~48psi at idle, which is pretty high. when i remove the vacuum source from the FPR, it doesn't start revving higher like it should. lots of tweaks to iron out yet.

the rubber couplers i used and the OEM cbr injector plugs blocked. along with JB welded 3/8" vacuum hose adaptor for brakes

why do you have two short, and two long air horns..

cause the #2/3 cylinder runners on the manifold are shorter than #1/4. so, to get the overall length the same, the horns are just a bit longer

how much has this ITB project cost ? Is it simple enough , that everyone could jump into an ITB project .. or is it a little too difficult , for the average wrench turner .. ?

the problem is the tuning. i actually have pulled them off cause i don't have the time or tools to get them tuned before autoX starts.

as for cost, so far this setup has run me ~$250. i will be selling these and opting for a different setup as i want GSXR tbs.

getting them installed is about 10% of the work. the rest is getting them to run right.

they were causing WAYY too much fuel to be dumped in the motor, and it basically choked it. they require a LOT of fuel management. ideally, you need a setup (like AEM EMS) that you can bypass the MAP for load, and have everything based on the TPS.

hahahahaha! me too! :D

this is f23king awesome!!! if i had the time i would try to rig this up but until then i'll just let other people figure it out and i'll just borrow their ideas! lol!

So have we come to an agreement as to which intake manifold (oem) is best to use when chopping one up? I was thinking a y8 IM
Has anyone seen the ducati dual throttle body set? I saw one on ebay and was thinking I could use that on the JDM dual carb intake manifold with little modification.
