fuel problem *I Think*

hey i change my head gasket on my 7y/y8 mini me and now when i gas it up it rev up slowly and the mph goes slowing up slowly too, no matter what if i gas it all the way. it seen like it low compression but i check it too and it is right. i want to know whats the problem. i check my timing and is it okay. now i don't know whats wrong with it. any suggestion.

put it at tdc and try again if its off a little bit it can run like ass
